Today in class we started off by reading an article title Earth Village. In that article the class was somewhat surprised at how the United States for the most part is a minority to the rest of the world.
We then talked about what religion really is. Our definition of religion was: An institution that helps determine how you act and how you live your life, solely because you believe in it. We wrote our definitions on the white board and Mrs. Egan showed us how we mistake what religion is. A powerpoint was given to us answering that question.
After the religion topic was through, we got into small groups in alphabetical order. These groups, as we were told, are for this circumlectio project and our quarter projects. For this groups quarter project we are studying religions in Australia.
We finished off class with a R.A.F.T. Role, Audience, Format, Topic. With the topic being 'What is Religion'.
